Lace up your Converse and get ready to rumble. Like rumble for reals. American Apparel gear for as little as a buck a pop? Apparently, yes. Sounds like shit is gonna get crazy. Last year when they did this they had (according to their website) about 4,000 people roll though taking home almost 200,000 garments. I guess they toss huge piles of cloths out on the street and let the hipsters dig through them. It’s not just about the duds this year; they’ve got food, drinks, a slip n’ slide, and screen-printing. The folks at Cinefamily will be showing obscure films. After sunset they’ll bust out the live music, special guest performers (Sebastien Tellier) turning things into a proper party.
