I saw Michel Gondry on Santa Monica Pier this past weekend drawing caricatures of tourists. He said it was to help feed his family due to a complete lack of consumer interest for his new video, Michel Gondry 2: More Videos Before and After. No, not really. I haven’t even seen the video, or read a review of it or have a way to access sales figures. But he will, for $19.95, draw and sign a portrait of you from a photo you submit to him via his website. Apparently he takes his sweet ass time, though, you’ve gotta give guy like 8-12 weeks for delivery.
