Finally, a Ducati I can afford...

Ducati1

What you’re looking at here is the 2010 Hypermotard 796, the latest addition to the Ducati family. Available for for under $10,000, the idea of the Hypermotard 796 is an affordable entry-level Ducati for those not necessarily interested in racing in street-level Moto GP races. The real advantage of the Hypermotard layout of course is its riding position, which makes it one of the most comfortable riding bikes out there.

Featuring a Desmodue L-Twin engine and lightweight frame, the Hypermotard 796 is set to hit dealerships in early November, and will be available in dark matte black, white matte or classic Ducati red.

(Psssst! Of course, I’d still rather have the 1098 R Bayliss any day, and for the price-point I’d go with the Monster 696, but still…)

…and the jaw-dropping 1098, just for shits n’ giggles…
