So stupid, so simple, so fresh

shoelace-chair

A little while back I brought you some crayon rings created by Timothy Liles. Not that I’d personally wear them, but I definitely liked the idea. Checking back on his site, I discovered these one off chairs that he made for Converse. Not sure what exactly the project was for (I did read on the Interweb that he interned for the company—so it must be true), but it sure does inspire creativity. He literally just found some chairs and covered them in thousands of feet of shoelace. So stupid, so simple so fresh. I’ve got a busted up excuse for a chair in my living room and a bunch of shoelaces in my closet…yet I doubt my interpretation would come out quite as nice.
