Bowers & Wilkins enters the headphone market for the first time

If you’re a picky bastard about how your music should sound, Bowers & Wilkins is a recognizable name in quality. I dig them. I’ve got their original Zeppelin and it sounds amazing. Have you seen the one that came after that, the Zeppelin Mini? I’m not sure how these headphones sound, but chances are pretty damn good considering they’re coming from B&W. The headphones are designed for use on the move and they look super comfortable too. Because these were designed for travel, the P5 comes supplied with a Made For iPod approved cable, which allows for speech and device control. It also comes supplied with a high-quality, standard audio cable with gold-plated plugs. Switching between the two is facilitated by the magnetically attached ear pads, which simply pop off allowing access to the cable. They’ll hit stores in Jan 2010.

  1. This internet site is actually quite good, but for some reason it does not display properly when trying to view on my Nintendo Wii. If it helps, the console uses the Opera web browser and am impelled to using the console for accessing the Internet whilst my PC is away being restored.
