I’ve got mad respect for what Mark and Sam, the brains behind Portland, Oregon based Tanner Goods, are doing. They’ve got serious dedication to their craft and it shows. All products are made to order in their Portland based leather studio and produced on an individual basis. Every belt, bag, and wallet is cut, constructed, and branded by hand by a small team of designers. You’ve gotta love the workmanship and the attention to detail. The downside of doing it all like this? Nothing if you ask me. If you’re an impatient bastard, delivery time might be a bit of a bummer; it takes about 1-2 weeks for belt and wallet production, and 2-3 weeks for bag production. Anywho, I was just checking out their site and came across a few things so I figured I’d share. Like the Waxed Canvas Tote (above). It’s a collaboration with NYC-based 3sixteen for their fall ‘09 collection. The tote is constructed from 10 oz. waxed canvas and English Bridle leather. A good look for carrying smaller laptops, books and magazines.

card-holder
Felted Wool Cardholder
: a little bit of sleekness to go with your grab-and-go lifestyle. Sometimes all the night calls for is your license, credit cards and some cash. It’s constructed from 3/4 oz. top grain leather and black felted wool.

Utility-Bifold
Utility Bifold
: standard-issue wallet…utility meets efficiency for the every-man. Enough room for your full arsenal of cards and cash without the creating a Costanza in your back pocket.

And just because I love me some Seinfeld
