Classic shades to ward off the summer glare

Summer is quickly approaching, so it’s about that time to gather the necessary accouterments needed to keep your cool (both literally and metaphorically, of course). For those of you who are intimidated by the more immediate trends materializing this season — say like the MWM x Ray-Ban’s we posted a couple days ago —  Mykita keeps it classic with their Joseph sunglasses. There isn’t much surprise here; with their traditional shape and tortoiseshell motif they are the archetype of sunglasses everywhere. But what you do get is a timeless accessory that you can rely on when the overly hip, geometric, neon pieces of the present get tossed aside. Pick them up for $400.

  1. You must wear sunglasses to prevent damage to your eyes. While some contact lenses provide UV protection, they don’t cover your whole eye, so you still need sunglasses.
