It’s always hard to tell what’s real in these wacky interwebs, but this marketing ploy by Argentinian beer company Andes sure seems to be legit. Not only legit, but really quite inventive. In this think-inside-the-box, free-social-media, scantily-clad-promotional-girls world of beer advertising you have to take your hats of to Andes if they really pulled this off — lord knows every bar could use one (but then again, if they became too ubiquitous it would kind of ruin the whole grift, wouldn’t it?). It’s essentially a walk-in soundproof booth that plays ambient sounds that fit whatever particular alibi you’re using so you can stay out and drink with your friends. So simple, but oh so genius. Luckily I don’t really need this, my imaginary girlfriend has a pretty loose leash (love u!), but I certainly know a lot of relationships that would benefit greatly from one of these Transporters. Let’s see if we can get Fat Tire (or that Coconut Porter) to start making some in the USA…
