Terry cloth-lined shoes with Bemis weld detailing

Converse drops a new version of the Jack Purcell shoe, this new Johnny Weld high-top incorporating Bemis weld detailing – a technique normally used for seam-sealing waterproof outerwear and tents. Available in a grey/white colorway, the sneaker features a 1980s performance shoe-like terry cloth lining, as well as pinstripe detailing on the rubber midsole. The shoe incorporates very subtle branding, opting with only the Jack Purcell signature found on the heel tab. Although a low-cut version is available as well (see after the Jump), it’s not nearly as attractive as the high-top silhouette.
