Thick knit cardigans inspired by Vancouver's Cowichan natives

Dr. Romanelli has released images from his Fall/Winter 2011 “Another Summit” Collection and and the pieces are eye-catching to say the least. Produced exclusively for Barney’s Japan, the set consists of thick knit cardigans with an array of Cosby-like patterns featuring leather shawl collars and front pockets. The pieces are made from reconstructed Cowichan sweaters — developed by the Cowichan people of southeastern Vancouver Island, British Colombia — and feature traditional designs primarily of animals and geometric shapes.
