Unearthed gem celebrating 20 years of Soma Records
Who knew today would be such a Daft Punky day? Quiet for months and then BAM! A film and a lost gem in one day. Today Daft Punk have pulled a previously never heard track from their dusty Homework-era vaults called “Drive”. They dusted it off from their treasured archives for the Soma Records 20 Years album, a compilation celebrating the indie Scottish label (on sale September 19). Lucky for us they uploaded it onto Soundcloud so we can all have a listen. Their best stuff? Hardly. But a little Daft Punk goes a long way…
…I wonder what the 12″ versions of them think of this gem…?
