New York City filtered prog/big beat/neo-'70s street funk
New York DJ/producer T.H. White releases this eclectic mix of tracks inspired by a set he spun this past spring for Asti Spumante. The Life Full Mixxtape runs through several genres sampling Matthew Dear, Toro y Moi, Yuksek, Com Truise and many more in the hour+ mix, wandering everywhere from 303 squelching house to prog rock psychedelic to big beat/neo-’70s street funk. His latest album, How Bad Do You Want It, came out October 11 (Sky Council Recordings) and was made using rare vintage tube gear acquired from the dismantling of the legendary Hit Factory studios.
