We’ve seen Spanish racebike manufacturer OSSA stage a comeback after a 3-decade hiatus with its TR 280i Trial Bike, but now Barcelona-based design team ART-TIC have penned a vintage-inspired electric bike based on an earlier famed 2-wheeler by OSSA. Spanish rider Santiago Herrero made the original OSSA Monocasco famous, but then fatally crashed in the 1970 Isle of Mann TT race. So ART-TIC started off with the original monocoque-style racer — which combines the body and chassis to form a single unit — as a base for its EV and went from there. It even has a removable fairing, as you can see in photos after the Jump. A beautiful design, although so far pretty light on details such as powertrain and battery.
