Toyota revealed their new Camette concept model at this years Tokyo Toy Show, which makes sense since the car is built for kids. My seven year-old self is filled with joy. The Camette has triangular seating where the driver sits front and center with two passengers behind on either side. The pedals are adjustable so children can operate controls and allow an adult seated in the right rear seat to assist… or help swerve out of the way of impending doom, more likely. The Camette even comes with interchangeable parts. The overall idea for the car was to “give parents and children the chance to become more familiar with the workings of motor vehicles.” A dream come true for kids, and a parent’s worst nightmare. Luckily for the ‘rents, there’s no plans for production.
