Have you found yourself day dreaming about the LEGO versions of Mr. Freeze, Joker’s side-kick Harley Quinn (dressed in disguise as an Arkham Asylum doctor) and/or Poison Ivy? Neither did I, until I saw these LEGO X DC comics collaborations. Announced at Comic Con in San Diego, LEGO took full advantage of the convention’s placement a week before the opening of Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight Rises to debut a new collection of LEGO figures featuring many of the movie’s characters — in addition to other classic DC Comic heroes like Aquaman, the Penguin and Joker. Seeing as LEGO has already dropped many a fanciful minifigure recreation (such as the Aztec Warrior, Evil Knight, Galaxy Patrol, Jungle Boy & Daredevil set, the Zombie, Robot & Mexican Wrestler collection, and of course who could forget the LEGO-like Daft Punk x Medicom TRON pack), it was only a matter of time before the German toymaker reached out to DC’s vast trove of characters. The DC Comics x LEGO Minifigures are available at select LEGOs and toy retailers worldwide — look out for the three different versions of Batman, including one especially rad wing-ed one.

Check out the DC Comics x LEGO Minifigures gallery below to view a few more of the figures…
