Did you know that Bob Marley’s family has a product movement that sells earth-friendly and innovative audio electronics and lifestyle goodies? The release of the ‘Lively Up’ Collection from the not misleadingly titled The House of Marley sports the exclusive, earth-friendly, in-house developed and durable REWIND fabric. Composed of reclaimed hemp and organic cotton, combined with the fibers of recycled water bottles (rPET) and finished using water-based dyes, the House’s choice to develop their own fabric sprung from their dissatisfaction with previously available earth friendly fabrics. The collection has six carriers to choose from: the Lively Up Sling, the Lively Up Backpack, the Lively Up Foldover Tote, the Lively Up Scout Pack, and the Lively Up Overnighter. The bags are beat chic — they look like flannel but of course are made of the other-worldly REWIND fabric described above. The Rasta colors are so subtle — try to discover them yourself — either in the stitching or under the clasp straps or shoulder straps. Keeping real the values of equality, unity, authenticity, sustainability and charity, the House of Marley donates 5% of its annual profits to 1Love.org.  They will be available for purchase online and at select independent and major retailers starting later this month. Prices range from $99 to $170. Check out the gallery below; lively up yourself and don’t be no drag!
