Jeremy Scott continues his sartorial assault on wallflowers everywhere with his latest collaboration with headwear giant New Era. As can be expected from the flamboyant Angeleno designer, the Jeremy Scott x New Era Headwear Collection for Spring/Summer 2013 features a varitey of baseball caps more suited for a Rick James video than the streets. Based on New Era’s ubiquitous 59FIFTY model, Scott outfits the hats with ostrich skin, copious eye-covering fringes, patent crocodile leather, animal prints and brightly colored snakeskin. You know, subtle touches to help you blend in at your church’s bake sale. No word yet on when the collection will hit store shelves, but keep an eye out.
