At the end of last year we posted Freddie Gibbs and Madlib’s Thuggin’ EP, and previewed their much anticipated album together. Well now the duo are hitting Europe for a quick “Medicine Show 2012” Tour sponsored by Carhartt, which started last night in Frankfurt and continues with a show tonight in Berlin (peep the flyer after the Jump for further dates). To promote the tour Madlib has prepared a Carhartt Radio show featuring Gibbs, J Rocc, and himself. The Los Angeles DJ, multi-instrumentalist, rapper and producer blends unreleased, unheard, and exclusive Madlib material in combination with some of his better known works (including his Quasimoto alias) to produce “an edgy twisted, 47 minutes long collage that melts HipHop and audio drama into one big psychedelic trip.” Give it a whirl below…
