When he’s not busy doodling hot girls as live models, prepping proms or assembling awesome comic books about Los Angeles, American comic-book artist Food One is busy releasing his remix of his classic, out-of-print comic dedicated to the landmark 1989 Beastie Boys album Paul’s Boutique. Admitting to listening to the legendary Beastie album at least once a week, his latest edition of the book is 32 pages of eye candy for both hip-hop/musicology heads and comic book junkies alike. The latest version is limited to only 100 copies and includes brand a new wrap-around cover and inside front and back cover art, all printed on light yellow paper and signed and numbered by Jim. The artwork comes as either the book, or a Fun Pack which includes a limited edition “Ask for Janice” Mini-Comic signed and numbered by Mahfood, the 24″ x 18″ exquisitely printed Paul’s Botique Giclee Print signed and numbered by Mahfood (each of which includes a drawing your favorite Beastie Boy on it), and an original hand-drawn MCA Bookmark. The book ($15) and The Fun Pack (100&) are now available online.
