New York's photography maestros ascend the shores of Miami

Stop me if you’ve heard this one… a super hip art gallery from NYC walks into a chic hotel in to south beach during Art Basel and says… OK so that’s not a joke at all, and yeah we’ve mentioned Morrison Hotel Gallery a few times in the past (e.g. exhibits with Lynn Goldsmith, Jim Marshall, Janette Beckman and David Corio, The Doors, etc), but hey man their goods are worth pimping — so here we go again from the top. The Morrison Hotel Gallery is partnering with the swanky Dream Hotel South Beach during this week of Art Basel, December 3rd thru the 9th. The show will exhibit both rare and never-before-seen signed and numbered collection of works from its archive of world-class music photographers. This marks the exciting debut of the Morrison Hotel Gallery at Miami’s renowned Art Basel. Who doesn’t like an experienced virgin in South Beach?

Photography will include such works as: Jack White, White Stripes Canada Tour, 2007 by Autumn De Wilde; Keith Richards and Ron Wood, Los Angeles, CA, 1979 by Henry Diltz; Bruce Springsteen, Darkness, 1978 by Frank Stefanko (above); Debbie (Harry) Shades by Chris Stein; Black Keys, 2009 by Danny Clinch; Jim Morrison, NYC, 1967 by Joel Brodsky to name just a few.

If none of that gets you motivated, the lineup of DJs, art crowd, supple bikini’d bodies and South Beach-style Tony Montana party favors flowing should help get you there. Lock in your GPS and head for the sun…
