We’ve already seen Jeremy Scott be inspired by Native American culture with his JS Wings “Totem” Sneakers, so it’s not a shock that he would look to other indigenous cultures for footwear inspiration. The latest are his “Tartan” high-tops inspired by the famous plaid fabric of the Irish and Scottish island folk. For the upcoming season of his adidas Originals line he takes a pair of JS Instinct Hi’s and crafts them of a plaid-printed red leather, giving them potent eyeball appeal. Pre-order them at atmos for about $237 (22,050 Yen) before their March release.
