Another exotic ride debuts at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show

Remember the Aspid GT-21 Invictus 450-HP Supercar? Well Aspid’s not the only Spanish supercar builder alive and kicking as Spania demonstrated at the Geneva Motor Show this year. The Iberian automaker unveiled its 900-horsepower GTA Spano, a heavily carbon fiber filled beast aiming its twin-turbocharged 8.4-liter V10 at the likes of the Ferrari LaFerrari, McLaren P1 and Lamborghini Veneno. Weighing in at under 3,000 lbs (2,976 to be exact), the GTA Spano boasts a 1-100 km/h click of under 3 seconds, largely thanks to its asphalt eviscerating 737 pound-feet of torque. Featuring a titanium honeycomb and Kevlar monocoque chassis and 7-speed sequential gearbox, the Spania GTA Spano uses AP Racing carbon ceramic brakes with six-piston calipers to wrangle in its 217 mph top speed — all numbers that are about equal to the highest tier of exotic hypercar today. No word yet on price, but production will be incredibly limited for the tiny Spanish coachbuilder — only 99 they claim, though they have to find buyers first.
