Pitchfork put together this documentary about The Flaming Lips seminal album The Soft Bulletin. Although they’d experienced some success prior to The Soft Bulletin, that album is what elevated the Oklahoman alt rockers from struggling indie band to the cult favorites that they are today. The world is full of stories about how rad Wayne Coyne is — from taking down his own equipment to meeting with fans after shows to even going to their parties — so it’s hard not to root for the guy.
