If you’re obscenely rich lucky enough to be currently participating in the inter-continental celebrity and royalty hell on wheels automotive orgy that is the Gumball 3000 Rally, then you may know what the Galag TG1 is. If not, then there’s almost no chance in hell you do, as the Galag TG1 is a one-off mod built by a bunch of rich Saudi Arabians explicitly to let everyone know just how batshit rich they are. How rich, you ask? Rich enough to take an already potent Nissan GT-R and have its engine completely rebuilt by Litchfield, who’ve taken the GT-R’s standard twin-turbocharged 3.8 liter V6 and modded it out to a considerably more hefty 750 horsepower and 700 lb-ft of torque. And then giving it a completely new carbon fiber body. You know, just cos. According to Team Galag, the TG1 can reach 211 mph, while hitting 62 miles (100 km) from a standstill in just 2.6 seconds. Currently the Gumball ralliers are traipsing around the Baltic States, but if you want to get a look at the Galag TG1 in the next couple days keep your eyes peeled — if you live in Poland, Austria, Italy or Monaco that is. Since the Galag TG1 is only a one-off, there is no word on price or plans to produce.
