We’ve covered Brandon Scott before, founder of Los Angeles menswear label B:SCOTT, including his inaugural Spring Collection back in 2010 and most recently his Half-Hood Anorak Mock Jacket. Now Brandon is taking his talents to the film world, acting as Costume Designer for the sci-fi short film HOME for which he’s designing a trio of goods. The flagship of the exclusive capsule collection is the “Homestead” Anorak Mock Jacket, a limited edition take on the superb Anorak from his Fall 2013 Self Made Man Collection. The 3/4 length jacket features an extended collar, drawstring hood, cargo pockets and brushed cotton twill with an exclusive HOME “frontier” material treatment, all in a Dark Hunter Green colorway. Only 10 of the “Homestead” Anorak Mock Jackets will be available for purchase as a “perk” ($800 jacket only, or $2500 with co-Executive Producer credit on the film) at HOME’s IndieGoGo campaign page. There is also a customized 13.1 Boot from newly minted footwear brand CONCEPTUAL APPLICATION, as well as a “Homestead” Tee — both also available now for presale until Sunday August 11, 2013 midnight PDT. The sci-fi short — produced by Jonathan Bird of NVSBL Film, Zoe Morrison and Amit Samuel — looks especially promising with an excellent crew including visual effects by the team behind Life Of Pi, Director of Photography Ketil Dietrichson (Lady Gaga “Poker Face,” Kid Cudi “Make Her Say,” Daft Punk “Derezzed”, etc.) and Music Supervision by MTV World’s Micah McKinney. We’ll keep our eyes out for more developments, including a trailer, in the coming months.
