The A-stand from AIAIAI Labs is a laptop stand made from some leftover plumbing pipe used to mold Danny DeVito…I didn’t know they stacked it that high. While that’s not really true, (because DeVito was really hatched in a test tube, remember?) I can tell you that the design was inspired by Dan Steingart, an assistant professor at New York City College. He received a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from UC Berkeley and goes about his day thinking of ways to engineer materials with the least amount of impact and waste possible. AIAIAI picked up on the theme, packaged it up and will ship it to you for something like $70. DeVito DNA not included, you have to go to his Twitter page for that.
