The folks at the Catalyst Artist Collective have a great show / holiday shopping opportunity coming up on December 19. Just as the title suggests, their gallery / loft space is going to be rammed with the works of 100 artists all hocking their goods for under $100. How sweet is that. I’d so rather have an original piece of art than say something you could pick at your local Mega-Lo Mart. Everything from paintings, photography, mixed media, sculptures and fashion. Some of the fashion and jewelry brands include: Please Dress Up, Misty Rose, Claire Heiber Designs, Delevo, Lu, Heidi Spring and Carson Marjamaa. Plus they’ll have Beautiful Days, Lindsley Road, Juni Bucher, Tarah Marie providing live music entertainment with Tommy Baltimore DJing plus some video installations to further distract your eyeballs. It’s free to get in and all the art and bar sales are cash only. They will have an ATM machine on hand too, tho. So, lets recap… not only is this a dope opportunity to pick up some unique pieces for the holidays, but you get to hear some great music and see the 14,000 sf Catalyst space covered head-to-toe in great art.
