You’re not going to be able to get your hands on these until spring 09, but we’re feeling them so much that we thought we’d give you a little tease. The shoes are part of the Generic Man designs under their Re-Edit (reused, recycled and re-edited) series. Kevin Carney (known as Nitedog to the dancefloor) explains it this way, “It begins by hunting for vintage fabrics, obtaining various army, cotton and canvases as well as incorporating other unique materials that are found along the way. After choosing the materials they are next trace by hand using pattern pieces then sent off to the factory for production. This attention to detail makes virtually every pair of Re-Edit shoes a one of a kind, hand-crafted from start to finish.”
I don’t want to leave you hanging til spring, though… make the jump for Nitedog’s free “End of Summer Newdult Discosunset Mix” download and more shoes.
