This has absolutely nothing to do with the amazing pic above, but I thought something as awesome as this deserves an equally epic image. FACT magazine has compiled the 20 Best Mixes of 2008 and, damn, have they done a fine job of it. The list gives love to everyone from Metro Area to the disco of Prins Thomas to even Esau…they even included that Crookers mix we talked about (and a bunch, admittedly, we didn’t even know about). But peep the bass — Squincy Jones’ Nintendub mix (conflating 8-bit, dub and hip hop) is bonkers.
