Do you swallow swords, tap dance, or employ evil magic? Well then this may be for you!

deadmansbones

UPDATE: we were given their track “In the Room Where You Sleep” to post which you can download HERE. Check out a live version below:

If you’re not familiar with Dead Man’s Bones, they’re much better than their red carpet pedigree predicts (which includes Ryan Gosling of Full Nelson, The Notebook, Lars And the Real Girl, etc). Their music is as dark as 3 am, haunting, and yet strangely celebratory — an applicable soundtrack to burying bodies in a dark, damp wood. Or for vampire feeding hour. You get the picture. (Album drops October 6th on ANTI)

As of today there is an open casting call for performers to participate. Each talent show is to consist of 5-8 slots, open to performers of all ages and any kind of talent. These aren’t contests, but rather good natured showcases for people to display their natural talents. Halloween-themed acts will be given preferential treatment. Sword swollers, tap dancers, magicians, impersonators, kid bands, and anyone with an talent of any kind to display is eagerly invited to perform.

Address to send your DVD, tour dates, and a couple more videos after the Jump…

DISCLAIMER: Due to the extravagant nature of the Dead Man’s Bones stage show, there will be no opportunity for soundchecks, and no groups requiring full band equipment or consisting of more than four members will be considered.
