An exercise about today’s social behavior
Without seeing this first, if someone told me their inspiration for a storage/work surface/kitchen utility comes from the shanty towns all around South America, from las ciudades perdidas in Mexico City to las favelas in Rio de Janeiro, I’d probably look at ‘em a little crossed eyed. But when you see it, it all makes sense. This really does have an irregular, ad hoc, self-constructed vibe to it. There’s something to be said about beauty in imperfection and the absence of grid like structure and how a little bit of disorder can be liberating. Bravo Christian Vivanco.
