There are plenty of reasons why I pray print magazines don’t die the languishing, agonizing death of the newspaper, and one of them is V magazine. They feature two great shoots in their just-released November V62 issue — the first a post-modern ode to the classic swimsuit-clad pin-up model shot by Willy Vanderperre. It stars the Victoria’s Secret duo of Australian model Miranda Kerr and the absolutely mindboggling Brazilian Ana Beatriz Barros — my gosh Barros does strange things to the Madman’s brain.

Altho I’m usually a big fan of Barros’ many talents these pics don’t necessarily do much for me, but I do dig Olivier Rizzo’s styling. The second shoot features Russian supermodel Natalia Vodianova. These interwebs just don’t seem to do these ladies justice…
