With spring quickly approaching, design houses are scouring to get their Autumn/Winter Collections on the scene in order to get crowds salivating ahead of schedule. The French-via-Spain fashion line Balenciaga has released previews of their Autumn/Winter 2010 collection. As usual for the fashion house, the collection features very stoic and sleek structured pieces. They’re minimally detailed and stick with classic fall colors, mostly darker tones with splashes of white, beige, and burgundy. Balenciaga has an obvious European sensibility to their clothing and this line is no exception. But, despite the fact that they’ve stuck to the usual color schemes of the season, the shapes of the pieces and the overall polished look to the line gives of a sense of the future.
