I will readily admit that I’m a shameless Will Ferrell fan. I know he can be a bit stupid, utterly sophomoric, and has a tendency to repeat his roles like Al Pacino, but dammit if they guy just doesn’t make me laugh. I think the only movie of his I didn’t see in theaters recently was Land of the Lost, and when I rented it I still got a few chuckles (I know, it sucked). The trailer to his new film below, The Other Guys, managed to do the same. Will Ferrell as a hapless, desk-bound cop, following the heroic coattails of Samuel L. Jackson and the Rock? Could work — at least as good as a narcissistic, sequin-wearing figure skater…
