Quirky and cartoony, this fashion line by British designer Ralph Rovero is appropriately titled Who Needs A Superhero? due to being inspired by hero’s of Rovero’s youth, such as Power Rangers, Pokemon, Superman, Spiderman, and X-Men. Rovero used copious latex to help create a stretchy fit for all superhero activites, and colorblocked it with bold saturated colors to emphasize the atmosphere of fun associated with dressing up. He also combined the artificial textures with soft jersey fabrics for comfort. Rovero describes his new fashion line as “bright bold and blocky… I love color and I’m not afraid to use it.”
