The latest artist out of the Mad Decent roster, the 26-year old Mumdance (better known to his mum as Jack Adams), released his highly anticipated Mum Decent EP last week. The first single, “Don’t Forget Me Now”, sees LIAS favorite and past feature Esser on the vocals, with an appropriately clever and absurd video to match (see below). Mumdance has spent the last couple years crafting high profile remixes for Santigold, Gucci Mane, Radioclit and others, and now it’s time for Mr. Adams to do his own thing. Including tracks with UK grime MC Badness, Mum Decent should quite likely provide listening pleasure for your next couple dancefloor sessions. Among other tracks, peep his Different Circles mixtape below if you want a good sampling of his sound, and/or download his cover of Wookie’s seminal garage track “Battle” HERE from Stereogum. Look out for upcoming releases with Bonde Do Role, Toy Selectah, Brodinski and Drums of Death as well…
