Boski Delrizzo, aka Bosco Delrey, is here to save rock n’ roll. As in the twang guitar, blues infused Tennessee-incubated music that makes you want to drink long gulps of cold beer in a smokey bar and eat stale popcorn as some guy on a stage rips everyone a new ear hole. His debut album, Everybody Wah, drops on Mad Decent/Downtown Records next month and Bosco is already getting ready to let the world know he means business. As my homegirl Dana says, “he sounds like Memphis by way of New Jersey… if Sun Studios sent artists to record in future space,” which is about as accurate a summation as you could come up with. But there’s plenty of electro flourishes and even some apache drum & bass musings on a track, so kid really is all over the place. His sound is so varied that it even inspired the genre-hopping Beastie Boys’ Ad Rock and Mike D to remix a couple of tracks — you can pick up a free download of Ad Rock’s “Evil Lives” remix HERE. And don’t forget to give a peep to his video for “Space Junky” below…

Allow me to introduce myself, I’m…
Boski Delrizzo aka Bosco Delrey

You can find me…
Memphis, TN

I’m usually posted up at…
Club Visions

I pay my bills by…
Bedazzling Uggs with rhinestones at the mall.  I write songs too.

You might’ve heard of me because…
I’m a noise maker music maker party flavor.

But why you really should know me is…
Next up is my brand new record.  There’s gonna be a huge mug shot of my head on the front. It’s a triple exposure, in camera edit. No Photoshop nonsense. It’s taking a while to get these infrared photos back from the processing plant, but it’ll be worth it.

If it wasn’t for _______ I wouldn’t be where I am today
Man that’s a crazy question. I don’t know, Adam and Eve?  Galileo? Håkan Buskhe? Mom and Dad?

The best part about my job is…
When I get the rhinestones ironed on right the first time.

The worst part about my job is…
When I burn someone’s boots.

If I was taking a train from Paris to Madrid, and I could choose one person to share the cabin with, I’d choose….
Sigmund Freud.

The first piece of music I heard that I remember waking up my ears was…
Ring Around the Rosie

The last piece of music I heard that woke up my ears is…
Psycho Mafia

If you want to put a smile on my face, you probably want to…
Pretend you’re a cat and hand me a suitcase full of Cleveland’s.

If you want to wipe that smile away, then you should…
Complain.

The last time I saw the sun come up I was…
Feeding Whalebone.

The person I admire most is…
I’m not an idolater.

The last time I lied was because…
I hate liars.

If you hit shuffle on my iPod you might be shocked to find…
Wind Beneath My Wings

If you hit shuffle on my iPod I’d be embarrassed if it landed on…
It’s tough to embarrass me.

When I get my next really big check, I’m gonna go score a…
A new motorcycle.

But it’ll never replace…
My memory.

My one magic power is…
Levitation.

I’d like to give a quick shout-out to…
