Vans has introduced a new sneaker for the Fall 2011 Vans Vault line. Known as the Espadrille TH LX, the newly added shoe takes cues from the espadrille, a flat shoe that originates from the Pyrenees. Like its inspiration, the Espadrille TH LX features the same mid-sole — this time made of hemp — except it comes with premium suede uppers and Basque canvas. The team from Vans Vault teamed up with Taka Hayashi to fuse the famed chukka and espadrille shoes into a formidable sneaker/shoe hybrid for the true adventure seeker that can’t be saddled with dress shoes but still wants to look sharp. The Vans Espadrille TH LX shoes will be available in July 2011 from selected Vans Vault retail locations and are available in six colors: Taupe, Black, Cream, Biarritz, Marseilles and Montpellier.
