Hats off to Motor Trend, who for their September issue collected 11 of the world’s best “driver’s cars” in an empty airstrip and put on one helluva worthy drag race. That’s a collective 5,000 horses, 82 cylinders and $1.5 million in MSRP. We won’t tell you who won, that would take the fun out of it, but we will say it’s somewhat of a shocker. Although how Motor Trend chose their vehicles is a bit of a mystery — why choose the BMW 1-Series M to battle an Audi R8 GT — why not at least an M5? That hardly seems fair (and arbitrary as hell). How can you select a Porsche GT3 RS as opposed to a straight 911, but then use a pedestrian version of other cars? Anyway, who really cares — if you like cars, this video is well worth your four minutes. Enjoy…

Magnificent goods from you, man. I’ve understand your stuff previous to and you’re simply too great. I really like what you’ve bought right here, certainly like what you’re saying and the way in which during which you are saying it. You’re making it enjoyable and you still care for to keep it wise. I cant wait to learn far more from you. This is actually a terrific website.
I am now not positive the place you’re getting your information, but good topic. I must spend a while finding out much more or working out more. Thank you for wonderful information I used to be in search of this info for my mission.
no ZR1, why?
I assume these were all run on their original tires. If so, I’d like to see this done again with decent rubber. I’ll bet the Corvette would fair better, when not handicapped by those worthless run-flats, that are required by the US DOT..
