Redesigned gems by dsquared2, Missoni, Tokujin Yoshioka & more

Kartell may have started out by producing plastic car accessories, but they’ve since grown into designing and manufacturing a slew of award winning products. Their latest endeavor is an auction involving 45 of their unique pieces developed for the Kartell Loves Milano charity in conjunction with Sothebey’s. The auction, taking place today,Tuesday, October 25, will benefit the Umberto Veronesi Foundation, which supports scientific research through grants for doctors and researchers. The Kartell Loves Milano Project is befitting of a company that has grown and evolved along with the city since the early ’50s. Designs by Kartell were reimagined by 45 different top tier designers, architects, fashion brands and more, including work from dsquared2 (above), Francesco Bonami, Missoni (below), Patricia Urquiola, Tokujin Yoshioka and a piece created by oncologist Umberto Veronesi himself.
