Maserati’s top of the line MC Stradale gets a steroid shot from Novitec Tridente, the top global tuner of the vaunted Italian brand. The MC Stradale, already the highest performing edition in Maserati‘s GranTurismo line, gets a belt-driven supercharger installed onto its 4.7-liter V8 engine that ups power by a significant 196 hp to 646 hp and boosts top speed up to 190 mph, with a 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) clip of just 3.9 seconds. A bigger intake manifold, larger injectors and newly calibrated mapping for the engine electronics all add to the performance. Visually Novitec Tridente adds on three-piece 21″ and 22″ wheels, a new hood (which can be optionally made of carbon fiber) with a central air scoop and two large vents and drops the ride-height by 25 millimeters. The only other visual difference is the exhaust system which is finished up with two black-coated or polished 105-millimeter tailpipes. The conversion will cost you about $32,000 (EUR 23,900) over the cost of the MC Stradale itself.
