If the world was like Mad Men, the Sexy Lamp would be more than a mere desk lamp — it would be a promiscuous suggestion noted for all the secretaries in the work place. However the world is not Mad Men, so instead it is just a simple desktop reminder about all that is good in life. The Sexy Lamp is the product of Turkish designer Mert Gutav, whose Make Some Design studio out of Istanbul “makes products that are playful but work for the benefit into everyday life,” as Mert explains. Besides the lascivious (and sort of slutty) Sexy Lamp, Gutav has also created other items, like the clever Web Lovers Edition Monopoly board game. We’ll keep an eye on his work…
