High fashion house Prada has created another hybrid shoe for Fall/Winter 2012. Taking inspiration from wingtip shoes and espadrilles alike, the “Levitate” wingtips are a mash-up of the high-end wingtip with the performance and comfort of an everyday sneaker. The sneaker soles have a transparent cushion while the upper is burnished leather with brogue detailing — certainly not a style everyone can pull off, or would want to for that matter. But, if you’re into the luxury hybrid look, they also come in other iterations than “Levitate”, such as a loafer, Chelsea boot and kiltie brogue. The shoes are now on sale at Nordstrom for $660.
