Chappelli‘s NuVinci internal hub bicycle uses the latest innovation in gear technology, allowing for a seamless transition through speeds. Say goodbye to clunking gears or cadence interruptions as changing gears with the NuVinci hub is as simple as adjusting the grip shifter to match the gradient of the road — essentially allowing for an infinite number of gears. It’s thus no surprise that the Chappelli Nuvinci was given top honors in the sport and leisure category at the 2012 Australian International Design Awards. Finished in sleek black and chrome, other notable exterior details include leather grips with integrated LED lighting in the handlebars, a chromoly lugged steel frameset with custom Chappelli cranks, and wheels with chromed out deep Vs matching the silver lugs and component setup. If you want to get your hands one of these for the price of $1,795 AUD, well you’re shit out of luck unless you move to New Zealand or Australia, where a limited run is set for delivery in November.
