What is normally one of the more conservative of all footwear designs, the wingtip, is getting heavily rinsed for Spring Summer 2013. Sure other less conventional wingtips have been offered before, but two takes on the timeless silhouette by Christian Louboutin and MIHARAYASUHIRO certainly spare no expense to catch eyes. Christian Louboutin’s “Tyronito” adds black metal spikes to a rich calf leather toe, matched with suede around the ankles. MIHARAYASUHIRO’s version, meanwhile, goes traditional with most of the shoe and then midway to the front the distressed leather suddenly gets heavily polished and over-dyed, giving the shoe a sharp contrasting look.
