Oh boy does this get the blood pumping for the upcoming X-Men: Days of Future Past film. After having the X-Men franchise pulled from him and delivered to the talentless mitts of Brett Ratner, Bryan Singer returned in 2011 with the X-Men First Class “history” film. Of course it reset the franchise after Ratner’s atrocious X-Men United, so Fox was smart enough to continue allowing Singer to helm the course of everyone’s favorite mutants. The new film will tell the “Days of Future Past” storyline that has long stood as a fan favorite (from The Uncanny X-Men #141 and #142), which looks forward to a future where mutants are hunted and exterminated by robot killers known as Sentinels — focusing on Sprite, aka Kitty Pryde (Ellen Paige) and Wolverine (Hugh Jackman). Here we see the first viral video for the film, a commercial for the fictitious Trask Industries, makers of the dreaded Sentinels. No not much is revealed, but it certainly whets the appetite for what should be another fine film from Bryan Singer and Marvel…
