Helmet schematics, Moroder interview, photobook, music & more

The French robots who brought you the most ubiquitous song of the summer, “Get Lucky”, have decided to bestow their legion of fans with even more music from their Random Access Memories album. The Random Access Memories Deluxe Box Set not only features the album on two heavyweight 180 gram vinyl discs, but have packaged the albums with gold and silver foil and a 8-page saddle stitched book with album art, credits and lyrics. There’s also a 10″ vinyl with an extended interview with disco legend Giorgio Moroder, a 70mm film strip containing 5 actual frames from the “Lose Yourself To Dance” video mounted on a heavyweight matte stock, and an instruction booklet with schematics on how to build your own Daft Punk helmets and robot suits. A 56-page hardbound photobook from the Random Access Memories studio sessions is also included, and it all comes packaged in a 13″ x 13″ cloth bound box with gold Random Access Memories foil on the cover. Of course on top of all that physical merch comes the digital: 2 USB drives loaded with music, bonus content, and videos, TV spots and an extended Coachella video. Pre-order it now from Columbia Records for $275.
