The first official trailer to the sequel of the Amazing Spider-Man dropped today. Looks promising, with Spidey’s arch antagonist switching from the Lizard to Electro, another infamous (and classic) Peter Parker nemesis. The ultra-fast reboot of the once Tobey Maquire-led franchise only goes to show Hollywood’s voracious appetite for money superhero movies, so it’s no shocker they’re pumping out the sequel to hit theaters by next summer, due May 2, 2014. The cleverly titled Amazing Spider-Man 2 once again stars Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Denis Leary, Martin Sheen and Sally Field, and introduces Jamie Foxx as nerd/super villain Electro and Dane DeHaan as Harry Osborn.
