SBTRKT breaks his recent silence by sending Mary Anne Hobbs a new track, which she giddily debuted on her BBC Radio 6 show this weekend. With “Hold the Line”, the British producer known to his mum as Aaron Jerome doesn’t stray far from the ethereal, moody beats that have made him one of the more exciting minds in the wide-net world of dance music. This was the note sent with the tune:

“These tracks will form a collection of vinyl 12″s before my next album and its singles, maybe a digital release, too. They’ll be out in a couple of months. All instrumental stuff along the lines of the music I put out on Ramp or the early Young Turks releases.”
