One of our favorite crews in music right now, the LA-based WEDIDIT collective, has been spearheaded by the likes of LIAS-endorsed Shlohmo. We now get a special mix made for FADER by Groundislava, proud WEDIDIT cohort and apparent cyberpunk aficionado (read his FADER interview HERE). Mixing a subtle, night-bus-ish forty minute set that includes chill out instrumentals, Vangelis-y soundtrack synths, a sprinkling of Sade and Aphex Twin and even three new Groundislava tracks — “October pt. 1”, “7 AM,” and “Engrossing Moments (Groundislava Remix)” — the FADER mixtape makes for some nice background listening while you plow through your day’s work… or make tonight’s stir fry.
